Show Notes
Greetings Midnighters! Summer is here, and with it comes our special edition of The Midnight Project, dropping this Saturday. I'm excited to share 28 fresh, high-energy techno tracks perfect for those long summer days. As always, the full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists, but let me take you behind the scenes of a few standout tracks you'll hear in this episode. First, we have the electrifying remix of "Wasted" by Joyhauser, reimagined by the legendary Bart Skils. Bart's unique ability to infuse tracks with a driving, hypnotic energy makes this remix a masterpiece. His career, spanning over two decades, has solidified him as a key player in the techno scene, known for his impeccable mixing and production skills. Next, let's dive into "Basiliscus" by Fabio Salvati, released on my own Redesign Records. This track showcases Fabio's innovative approach to techno, characterized by intricate layers and deep, pulsating beats. It's always a pleasure to feature tracks from artists who push the boundaries of the genre and bring fresh sounds to the table. And, of course, I'm thrilled to include one of my latest remixes, "Eternum" by Slim Black. This track allowed me to explore new dimensions of sound and rhythm, creating a remix that stays true to the original while adding my twist. Remixing is a passion of mine, and I'm excited to share the result with you. As we gear up for this special summer edition, I want to remind you to subscribe to the show and share the love with fellow techno fans, making them a Midnighter. Remember to comment with your favorite track from the show or recommend an artist I should bring to the next show. Let's keep the techno spirit alive and thriving! More from Techno Live Sets
Midnighters, This one is personal. I've been playing Groovecreator's music for fifteen years. His records have filled countless hours of this show and many nights behind the decks. Bringing him to you as a guest on this bonus episode feels like a full-circle moment. He's sharing something special: a live recording from his set at Playground during Burning Man 2026, captured in Black Rock City. If you couldn't be in the desert this year, this is the closest you'll get to dancing in the dust at sunrise. The set opens with an unreleased Chicago acid track he made with house legend Roy Davis Jr. From there, it takes you through a Led Zeppelin bootleg, a club edit of Radiohead, and Prydz's Pink Floyd rework. Then it lands on "I Feel Love" by Moroder and Donna Summer, the record that arguably started it all. The last stretch builds into peak-time house and techno, ending with Carl Cox's remix of "Talamanca," a nice nod to the man behind Playground. Big thanks to Groovecreator for trusting us with this recording. If it moves you, follow him via https://linktr.ee/Groovecreator and let him know. Nothing means more to an artist than hearing that it landed. Now for the part that makes me happiest. On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Groovecreator joins me on my rooftop at the Tomorrowland Ibiza Rooftop Sessions. After fifteen years of playing his tracks, I'm still letting that sink in. He plays from 20:00 to 21:00, with Rebeca Ark before and after. You'll find us at the Tomorrowland Ibiza Store in the Ibiza Gallery, Platja d'en Bossa. The guest list is free, so bring your crew and sign up here: https://www.fourvenues.com/vanesa2/events/tomorrowland-ibiza-rooftop-sessions-03-10-2026-WXGT If you come because of the show, come find me and say hi. Putting faces to the names I see in the comments every week is the best part of what we've built together. Midnighters, this community grows because of you, so tell me what you think. Which moment got you: the Zeppelin bootleg, "I Feel Love," or that unreleased acid track? If you've been to the Burn, share your best playa memory. Coming to the rooftop? Say so in the comments so we can find each other. Tag a friend who needs this set and share your favourite moment with #TheMidnightProject. The regular show is back on Wednesday. Until then, see you on the dancefloor. Sebastiaan

Sebastiaan Hooft live from the Tomorrowland rooftop in Ibiza, the opening hour before Lilly Palmer. Recorded at Playa d'en Bossa, 19 June 2026. Driving, groove-led techno from the host of The Midnight Project, setting up the night as the terrace fills and the sun drops over the island.
This episode of Underground Frequencies: Live Techno Sets features a live end-of-year techno recording by Sebastiaan Hooft, captured in Ibiza for a private audience. The set runs for over two hours and presents a deep, hypnotic, and driving techno journey, performed as one continuous flow in an intimate setting. Recorded during a private end-of-year gathering, the mix reflects a focused atmosphere, long transitions, and carefully built energy, staying true to the spirit of underground techno. This recording captures a moment in Ibiza’s underground scene where music, space, and audience come together away from the spotlight. Ideal for listeners who appreciate extended techno sets, private club-style recordings, and immersive late-night sounds.
Hey Midnighters, This Saturday’s guest mix is coming in hot. Sam WOLFE takes over with a high-impact set packed with intensity, attitude, and a full arsenal of unreleased heat. If you’ve been watching his rise across the techno scene, this mix shows exactly why he’s the one to watch. From the opening track, a wild "Yes B!TCH" intro edit with Danny Avila and HNTR, you know you're in for a ride. Sam flips Odd Mob, Porter Robinson, Pryda, Soft Cell, and Beltran with his signature dark-tech energy, and drops more than 10 exclusive IDs and bootlegs that you won't hear anywhere else. This artist is fully committed. Standout moments include his hypnotic remix of "Language," a tension-filled take on "Tainted Love" with Jamie Jones, and a massive closing ID with JD Farrell that features a Central Cee vocal twist.
