In the penultimate episode of the season/series, the group prepares for a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Miranda. Miranda has invited Brady's baby mother without his knowledge which leads to a blow out, Carrie finishes her book and struggles with its ending while also walking down nostalgia lane. Seema and Adam level up their relationship and Herbert and Lisa face yet another bump.
Carrie takes the leap with Duncan and reminds us of who she is. Brady drops a bomb on Miranda and Steve. Seema and Adam get even closer through unusual circumstances. The breakup we have all been waiting for, finally happens as Carrie stands up to Aidan and calls off their "5 Year Agreement". Miranda comes clean with Joy about her alcoholism. Charlotte barely makes an appearance this episode. LTW has to baby Herbert as he whines about losing weight and Seema attempts going without deodorant.
Aidan surprises Carrie and comes into town but he is being funny about Duncan. Miranda thinks she is alcohol-ish and not an alcoholic.
