It’s possible to look ready on the outside and still be unprepared on the inside. In this message, Pastor Phil walks through Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25 and reminds us that faith is more than showing up, knowing the words, or being close to church. Jesus invites us to be ready for His return by knowing Him personally, persevering in the waiting, and choosing daily to follow Him. Don’t just look ready. Be ready. 🙌 Connect with Us: New? - hopecity.ca/newStay Connected...
More from Hope City Church
Being nice isn’t always the same as doing what’s right. Sometimes goodness means speaking up, making things right, or doing something that costs you. In this message, Pastor Ken McIntyre begins our new series, Building Blocks, by looking at what it means to grow in spiritual maturity. Through 2 Peter 1, we’re reminded that God has already given us everything we need to live a godly life. Our response is to keep growing in the character of Jesus, starting with goodness: knowing what’s right, s...
For 50 years, God has been faithful to Hope City Church. We’ve seen lives changed, people come to know Jesus, families restored, and stories of faith that have shaped generations. In this special 50th anniversary service, Pastor Phil Kniesel looks at Deuteronomy 1 and Ephesians 3 to remind us that God isn’t finished with His church or with us. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for decad...

When life gets hard, it’s easy to wonder what God is doing. In Romans 5, Pastor Phil reminds us that suffering doesn’t have to be wasted. God can use the difficult seasons of life to produce perseverance, character, and hope. Our hope isn’t that everything will work out exactly the way we want. Our hope is Jesus. Because of Him, we have peace with God, we stand in grace, and we can trust that God is still at work, even when the winds are blowing. 🙌 Connect with Us: New? - hopecity.ca/ne...
