Show Notes

In this episode I will be talking about how to build an Islamic routine as a Muslimah in the month of Ramadan that you can imbed everyday into your daily routine after the beautiful month too. I will talk about what things to include into your Islamic routine, the benefits of having an Ibaadah routine, how it helps with getting closer to Allah SWT, internal and external acts of worship and how to gain knowledge through your routine. The whole idea of developing an Islamic routine is to keep your routine consistent so that you can ensure you are doing good deeds on a regular basis in small and consistent steps.

*Dislaimer* This is a big reminder to myself foremost before I share with anyone else

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh my lovely sisters , A little reminder for the heart: Tawheed is so much more than something we learn, memorise and speak about. It should slowly become visible in the way we live, the way we think, the way we respond, the way we love, the way we seek and the way we place our trust in Allah. In this episode, we’re looking at what it actually looks like to live Tawheed in the ordinary parts of her life, from her rizq and relationships to her fears, plans, private struggles and the things her heart quietly depends upon. So put your phone down for a little while, get comfortable somewhere quiet, perhaps while tidying your room, getting ready for bed or taking an evening walk, and spend some time reflecting with me. A reflection point for you: What would change here if I truly remembered Allah?

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh my dear sister,In this episode, we begin our series, “Softness Is Not Weakness: Lessons From the Women of Islam.”In a world that can make us feel like we need to be harder, louder and less sensitive to be strong, I want to explore a different kind of strength, the strength of a woman whose heart remains soft because it is anchored in Allah. In part 1, we will talk about the lives of Maryam AS and Khadijah RA and reflect on what it truly means to be soft without being weak, gentle without being powerless, and feminine while carrying immense strength.A reminder that softness is not something we need to grow out of. Sometimes, it is one of the most beautiful forms of strength Allah gives us.
