What starts with a trip through the Taco Bell drive-thru backwards somehow ends with spitting, a police pursuit and a suspect unconscious in a field. And that’s just the beginning. On this episode of Citizen’s Arrest, Amy Rose, Brandon Jones, Lt. Kelvin Masur and Brendyn Medina break down a string of unusual Rapid City calls, including the theft of a fire department mobile medic vehicle that led officers on a pursuit all the way to New Underwood. They also talk about an armed barricade that brought out the Special Response Team, the response to a bomb threat at Monument Health and how officers prepare to help people living outside as colder weather approaches. Plus, can you ride a motorcycle while wearing a walking boot? Should you ever bungee-cord yourself to the bike? And a kids’ question takes the crew from Rapid City policing to The Terminator as they tackle how law enforcement is preparing for artificial intelligence. It’s bad decisions, serious police work and just enough talk about cadaver toes to make everyone uncomfortable. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
