Peter Chesbrough joins us to discuss his research into the pervasive legends of King Arthur. Is this person a true historical figure? What is the basis for the myths and stories? It is a complex and interesting subject, and Peter delivers on both primary sources and in explaining the cultural and political context in which many of the Arthurian legends are based. You can find more of Peter's research on the channel "Britan's Hidden History" https://www.youtube.com/ @BritainsHiddenHistoryRoss More research into the topic of Arthur and the history of Britain can be found at these channels as well: https://www.youtube.com/ @orgolwg https://www.youtube.com/@paulsmith-esotericexplorer

More from Brothers of the Serpent
New book report! Having done reports on Chris Dunn's other books, "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt" and "The Giza Power Plant", we have been wanting to do a full snakebros style report on his most recent book, "Giza: The Tesla Connection" since it came out, and here it is! As always, in part one we read the forwards and intro, and we even manage to get through chapters one and two, all of which is setting the stage for Dunn's updated ideas on the Powerplant concept. Remember, our book reports are in depth but do not by any means cover all of the material in the book. Support the autor and the publishers, buy the book! It's well worth it: https://a.co/d/09w0ZjnS
After a long 2026 harvest season at the vineyard, we are back with a live show where we start off by describing a bit about the winemaking process and what it's like in our brand new state of the art facility. We then move on to our favorite topic, Egypt, and the mysteries out in the Fayoum desert that we have been actively investigating the last few trips out there. The "Oldest Road" or "First Road", a stone construct that crosses miles of desert, bridging the space between a massive outcrop of basalt, and the shores of an ancient lake connected to the Nile river. How long ago was this road built? It seems likely that it was made for the purpose of moving quarried basalt stones to the water for transport to construction projects elsewhere in ancient Egypt....but when was it made? And why did the ancient builders decide to make part of it from petrified wood?
This was a fun conversation with Ben from UnchartedX! We discuss the current state of the research into the evidence for a technological lost civilization in the ancient past, how the research is expected to move forward in the future, and what it would mean if some of this evidence is actually eventually accepted by the mainstream.
Is it possible that some mythological creatures that ancient people spoke of were inspired by the fossil bones of extinct animals? Leah, one of our discord members, joins us to talk about an interesting theory that the mythological Griffin may have had it's origins in ancient gold miners discovering the fossil bones of a dinosaur called Protoceratops.
More investigation into the strange sets of "cart ruts" we explored in the Phrygian Valley in Turkey. We show more drone footage and photos, look at examples of "cart ruts" from the "Oregon Trail" in Wyoming, as well as actual ruts in mud for comparison. We read more emails with suggestions and ideas and discuss them. Thank you all for your emails and comments! The ruts are a fascinating and enduring mystery.
