But somehow, she's still expecting the girls to show up at night, wear her ALDC merchandise, and help promote the very studio they're no longer allowed to rehearse in...
Christi and Kelly revisit Season 6, Episode 5, “Abby's Replaceable,” where the girls are left to fend for themselves — and might actually be better off. Holly takes Nia and Kalani to train with the legendary Debbie Allen, who offers them an opportunity that has the moms questioning why they're still putting up with Abby in the first place. After years of being told their daughters were replaceable, the tables finally turn this episode.
And the chaos doesn't stop with Abby going AWOL. The mini moms are already calling the police on each other, Nia faces vicious bullying from fans, and the girls are struggling to pull together an ambitious Bollywood routine with an entirely new choreographer. Yet somehow, when competition day arrives, they manage to win WITHOUT Abby. It's a pretty remarkable outcome for someone who spent years taking credit for their success.
