In 1977, a family in Enfield, England claimed something had taken over their home. Furniture moved. Knocking came from inside the walls. An 11-year-old girl began speaking in a deep male voice. And at one point, a police officer reported seeing a chair move several feet without anyone touching it. Some incidents were later exposed as hoaxes. Others remain much harder to explain. In this episode, I’m breaking down the Enfield Poltergeist case, what witnesses actually reported, what was faked, and the details that still make this one of the most infamous alleged hauntings ever investigated. ♥️ Good luck sleeping tonight. 🪓

I have three new disturbing stories for you this week, and each one gets worse the longer it goes. In the first, a woman finds a missing child poster with her own childhood photo on it. Then, someone whose best friend disappeared eighteen years ago finds a video online showing her tied to a chair. And in the last story, a girl grows up thinking it’s completely normal for her mom to make her practice looking dead. Three very different nightmares. Good luck sleeping tonight.

A fictional horror story from Scared With Jess. A teenager gets one of those old chain emails warning her to forward it to thirteen people before midnight. She deletes it. Later that night, while she’s home alone, someone starts pounding on her bedroom door. After that, she starts seeing the same figure in her dreams, waking up freezing cold, and having thoughts that don’t always feel like her own. ♥️ Good luck sleeping tonight. 🪓 Linktree: https://linktr.ee/scaredwithjess
