The Grave Talks | Haunted, Paranormal & SupernaturalShow Notes
This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO From lethal gas to lethal injection, death was a constant presence inside Nevada State Prison. Over its long history, more than 40 of Nevada’s most notorious criminals were executed within its walls, many meeting their end just steps away from where they had lived out their final days. Though the prison officially closed in 2012, its story didn’t end there. Today, reports of paranormal activity continue to emerge from nearly every corner of the facility. Apparitions are said to appear in the mess hall. Unexplained sounds echo through the shower rooms. Former staff, inmates, and investigators alike describe encounters that suggest something—or someone—never left. On this episode of The Grave Talks, we sit down with Susan Bernard to explore the hauntings of Nevada State Prison. What happens when a place built for punishment, confinement, and death is suddenly abandoned? Are the spirits tied to unfinished sentences, lingering trauma, or something darker that took hold long before the doors were sealed shut? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO Long before the Salem Witch Trials, fear of witchcraft was already deeply ingrained in European society—and it crossed the ocean with the first settlers. In this episode of The Grave Talks, we explore how that fear took root in the New World and shaped centuries of paranoia, accusation, and tragedy. We’re joined by supernatural historian and author Troy Taylor, whose book One Night in Salem: The Hidden History of the American Witch examines how witchcraft hysteria followed settlers to America and erupted violently in Salem Village. What began as religious fear escalated into mass hysteria—fueled by distrust, fanaticism, and the belief that evil had taken hold—ultimately costing innocent people their lives. But Salem was not the end of America’s obsession with witchcraft. In this conversation, Troy traces the hidden history of the American witch beyond 1692, exploring how fear evolved, resurfaced, and continues to influence beliefs today. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO Few cases in paranormal history carry the same weight as the Bothell Hell House. This wasn’t a typical haunting marked by footsteps or distant voices. Those involved describe a presence that felt intelligent, aggressive, and intent on causing fear and harm. Together, we peel back the layers of this case to explore what unfolded inside the home, how the activity escalated, and why some believe the house crossed the line from haunting into something far more dangerous. Is the Bothell Hell House an example of extreme paranormal infestation—or something that defies easy explanation altogether? #TheGraveTalks #BothellHellHouse #ExtremeHauntings #HauntedLocations #ParanormalPodcast #DarkHauntings #TrueParanormal #UnexplainedEncounters #HauntedHistory #HauntedHouse #ParanormalInvestigators Love real ghost stories? He had worked inside plenty of vacant houses, so hearing a strange noise during an initial walkthrough wasn’t enough to bother him. Empty rooms carried sound in odd ways, and there was usually a reasonable explanation. But the whistle kept coming back. At first, he heard it while working alone. Then other crew members began hearing the same few notes from empty hallways and unfinished rooms. Footsteps followed. Tools moved. Eventually, someone saw a figure upstairs where no one should have been. As the renovation progressed, the house became brighter, newer, and harder to recognize. Walls were rebuilt. Floors were replaced. Nearly everything old disappeared. The whistle didn’t. And when the work was finished and a new family prepared to move in, one question stayed with him: Had they really renovated an empty house? #GhostStories #Paranormal #HauntedHouse #ParanormalEncounter #GhostlyWhistle #RenovationHaunting #HauntedHome #Unexplained #CreepyGhostStory #ParanormalActivity Love real ghost stories?
