Show Notes
Howdy, neighbors! Ms. Tina Knowles pulled up to talk about her brand new memoir, Matriarch — and this conversation… whew. It’s powerful, personal, and full of heart. We talked about everything from her childhood in Galveston, to raising Beyoncé and Solange, to the pride she feels as a grandma today. She opened up about surviving breast cancer, what it taught her, and why this chapter of her life is the most honest and free she’s ever felt.We shared peach iced tea, with a dash of Sir Davis (gifted by Ms. Tina herself), and we even tried a special mix Beyoncé made for the occasion. Then we got a little crafty to prep for the Cowboy Carter rodeo. This one’s for the mamas, the survivors, and anyone learning to tell their own story.
