50: 6 Things I Wish I Would've Known About a Failed Embryo Transfer Before Having One
Messy MotherhoodShow Notes
In February of this year, my husband and I experienced a failed embryo transfer and it was absolutely devastating.
We didn't know what to do, what to grieve, or how to move forward with our protocol. Now that we are a few months out from this experience, I can confidently say that we've learned a lot, grieved a lot, cried a lot, and grown a lot. It's one of the hardest things we've ever been through and unfortunately, there aren't a lot of resources or support out there to help those who go through this which is a big reason why I wanted to bring this conversation to the podcast.
In today's episode we're going to be talking about six things I wish we would've known before having a failed transfer in hopes to make others feel less alone. We'll also talk about how you can cope through this or support someone going through it.
Grab some tissues and meet me on the couch- it's time to get messy.

"It doesn't have to be perfect in order for it to be beautiful. It doesn't have to be perfect in order for it to be special. It doesn't have to be perfect in order for it to be memorable. It's not about everything being perfect. It's about everyone being together and making memories. Focus on being present, not perfect." - Stephanie Booe
