Budget 2027: Did farmers win or lose? | Inside the Farmers Journal
What does Budget 2027 actually mean for farmers? In this special episode of Inside the Farmers Journal, Barry Murphy is joined by the Farmers Journal team to break down the Budget measures affecting Irish agriculture — from tax changes and fuel costs to farm schemes and supports. We hear directly from Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon, the farming organisations and political representatives, before putting real-life farmer case studies to ifac Head of Tax Marty Murphy to find out who is better or worse off. Dairy, beef, sheep, tillage and young farmers are all put under the microscope, while our sector editors assess whether Budget 2027 delivers for Irish agriculture. Who gained? Who lost? And is this a good Budget for farming? Find out in this special episode of Inside the Farmers Journal. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
