In February 2005, Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. left a bar on Philadelphia’s South Street after a fun night out with friends — and were never seen again. Even more bizarre? Richard’s massive black Dodge Dakota truck vanished with them, without leaving behind a single trace.
What began as a missing persons case quickly spiraled into one of Philadelphia’s most baffling mysteries. Investigators uncovered a contentious divorce, threatening phone calls, rumors of organized crime involvement, and a possible murder-for-hire plot tied to Philly chop shops and the criminal underworld. But despite years of investigation by local police and the FBI, no arrests have ever been made and no evidence has ever definitively revealed what happened that night.
