Sam Thomas is an entrepreneur, storyteller, podcast host, and founder of the You Alright Mate? movement. For more than a decade, Sam has built businesses and communities across the UK, but his passion today is helping people redefine what success really means. As the host of the Different Hats Podcast, Sam has interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs, leaders, athletes, creatives, and changemakers, exploring one simple but powerful question: "How do you define success?" Through those conversations, he discovered that the things we often chase, money, status, and achievement, rarely tell the whole story. That insight led him to create You Alright Mate?, a social impact movement dedicated to improving mental wellbeing and reducing suicide by challenging outdated narratives around success and encouraging more honest conversations. Through corporate programmes, school workshops, keynote talks, and community initiatives, Sam helps people develop emotional literacy, resilience, and deeper human connection using his Five Pillars of Success framework: Balance, Authenticity, Presence, Fulfilment, and Relationships. His mission is simple: to create a world where people feel seen, heard, and valued, and where asking, "You Alright Mate?" becomes more than a greeting, it becomes an invitation for a real conversation. Because sometimes three words really can make a difference. CONNECT WITH NIYC...

Jenna Eastvold, RN, BSN, NC-BC, is a board-certified nurse coach with over 17 years of experience in health, behavior change, and coaching. She's the founder of EnergizeWell, where she helps people who feel stuck, drained, or caught in patterns they're ready to change. Jenna's approach blends behavior change, somatic awareness, and practical support to help clients build self-trust, follow through, and create lasting change in their health, relationships, and work. Her work isn't about quick fixes or willpower. It's about understanding what's actually happening underneath the hesitation, the overthinking, the automatic yes when you meant to say no, and helping people respond differently in the moment, not just know better in theory. At the core of her work are four values: whole-person healing, self-trust and clarity, sustainable change, and supportive environments, the belief that our habits and surroundings shape behavior more than motivation ever does. In this episode, Jenna helps listeners understand why "just try harder" doesn't work, and what it actually takes to create change that holds up in real life. Leah Davis is a Wealth & Wellness Coach for women of color, and the creator of Unbothered & Steady, a 52-week audio program on Substack helping Black and Brown women heal their relationship with money. Leah's work starts from a simple but often overlooked truth: struggling with money isn't about intelligence, discipline, or willpower, it's about safety. For Black and Brown women who have spent years in environments that made them feel unseen, undervalued, or unprotected, the nervous system responds to money the same way it responds to any other threat.
