First of two pods this week. There's a brief discussion about the meeting between the Collective and Celtic that we'll cover in more depth once the minutes are available. There is some frustration that certain people weren't able to wait for the collective to release their view on the meeting. Anyway... We then had a nice change of pace when we discussed the Braga game, and then moved on to the Motherwell game on Sunday. Neither is a particularly upbeat discussion as you can imagine. There's ...
More from RGC - A Celtic Podcast
Thanks to the fact that we airbrushed last Thursday's game from history, it's a cheery episode. Chris takes the reins for the first part of the pod, as the usual host was at the game on Sunday. We discuss the game and some questionable fashion choices, and it's all good, with a lot of positives to be taken from the performance and the result. We then have a frankly half-hearted discussion about Thursday night, and then we move on to Sunday game against Hibs. A listener narrowly escapes ...
It's been a while since you've heard from us, thanks to that horrendously long international break. When you last heard from us, the mood in the camp was not great, but thanks to a decent(ish) performance at Fir Park, there is some cheeriness on the pod. Chris had a scheduling conflict (although we do hear from him) so we have drafted in Davie Farrell, who reveals he does possess a cheery side. It's our fault, as we tend to ask him on to explain why a shitshow happened. We cover the 'We...
After a dark night of the soul the three regular contributors we have a group therapy session to help us deal with the events of the last eight or nine days, Regular listeners will know there is a difference in how highly the manager is regarded. There are reflections on the last two games and where we are as a club with a general consensus that change is needed. Obviously it's not a cheery listen, and we won't be back until after the International Break unless there is a change in the manage...
It's not as downbeat an episode as you would expect. We asked the Fenian Red Adair, Davie Farrell, to give his thoughts on Sunday's shitshow, as the WhatsApp group content suggested the three usual members of the pod's flying column would just have screamed into the void for an hour. There's still a bit of that, and there are some concerns about where we go from here but hopefully Sunday is a wake-up call for a lot of people. We still manage to find an avian RGC of the week that...
It's the usual lineup for this episode, and it's a busy one. Chris returns refreshed and invigorated from his holidays; Paul pitches up an utter shambles after a weekend on the gargle. We cover why we will never be the number 1 Celtic podcast, look back at the Aberdeen and St Mirren games, with Chris doing most of the heavy lifting on the "reasons". There are two games this week: Chris and Paul will be in Perth for the St Johnstone game and then there's the game against "thaym" on Sunday that...
