Adam Cianciarulo is back, and this time the conversation is less about racing and more about what comes after it. After retiring in May 2024, AC stepped straight into the broadcasting career he'd dreamed of since he was a kid. Two years later, he's still figuring out who he is without a race result to define him. Adam won 11 amateur national championships before ever lining up as a professional and spent much of his career carrying the expectations that came with it. In Chapter 423, he sits down with Jase Macalpine to discuss growing up without the time to develop an identity outside of racing, the breakdown that forced him to confront it, and his decision to turn down work so he could spend an entire summer with nothing on his schedule. AC OPENS UP ON: ◼ Never having had time to develop an identity outside racing ◼ The 2021 breakdown with his arm, and why he is grateful it got that bad ◼ Turning down the 2025 outdoors so he would have nothing on all summer ◼ Winning a Supercross in 2014 with zero confidence, and feeling like an imposter ◼ Training so hard as a kid that he stunted his own growth ◼ Moving in with Ryan Villopoto, and why RV is the most underrated champion of the era ◼ Giving Ken Roczen a 50/50 shot at lining up in 2027 ◼ What he actually meant about Chase Sexton, and the standard Chase holds himself to ◼ Jorge Prado and Jeffrey Herlings at the MXoN, and racing ready to die on a Monday ◼ Blake Baggett's life after racing, and the phone call from a construction site 00:00:00 Intro 00:01:52 Welcome back Adam Cianciarulo 00:02:12 Adam's Glow Up 00:04:25 The Start of Gypsy Tales 00:11:48 Housecall Pro Ad 00:12:06 Daniel Blairs Broadcasting Skill 00:18:10 Adam's Broadcasting Career 00:22:32 The Transition from Pro to Retirement 00:30:52 How Social Media Impacts your world view 00:36:50 Doing things for the right reason 00:42:25 Not needing a lot to be Happy 00:49:41 Mentally hitting your limit 00:57:34 Sota Fuel Ad 01:01:26 Getting Brand Deals 01:07:10 Jeffery Herlings VS Jorge Prado 01:10:46 Risking your life for 20 years 01:17:57 The Rarity of being a Supercross broadcaster 01:26:05 Should Adam Return to Racing? 01:31:23 Why RC is the GOAT 01:39:48 Dealing with online comments 01:43:36 Moving in with Ryan Villopoto 01:50:30 Adam had no confidence 01:56:54 Is Villopoto the Goat? 02:01:49 Jett Lawrence 02:06:10 Showing how hard Supercross really is 02:09:58 Crazy Ryan Villopoto Story 02:21:19 Adam wants an adventure ride 02:29:36 Positive Interactions with fans 02:38:29 Instagram Conspiracy 2:51:11 Fist Handwear Ad 02:52:25 Blake Baggett is doing the pod! 02:58:07 Blake Baggett's Late Moto Charge 03:08:03 Chase Sexton 03:17:50 Extreme Ownership Jacko Willink 03:27:20 Dealing with anxiety 03:31:02 The Risk of Racing Supercross 03:39:01 Haiden Deegans Rookie Season 03:50:17 Lucas Coenen Straight to 450 Supercross 03:57:31 Closing Monster Energy 🟢 https://www.monsterenergy.com/en-us/ Save 50% off Housecall Pro: https://housecallpro.com/gypsygang Follow the Gypsy himself 👇 Jase Macalpine https://www.instagram.com/jasemacalpine/ 🛒 Shop Gypsy Tales merch: https://gypsytales.com 📸 FOLLOW GYPSY TALES ON INSTAGRAM: @gypsytalespodcast Listen on Spotify/Apple → https://pod.link/1335551721 💼 Business inquiries: [email protected] See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Jeremy McGrath is a seven time supercross champion with more main event wins than anyone in the history of the sport.
