This is First Aid Spray - a Resident Evil podcast by fans, for fans! The discourse is strong in this one as we tackle Zack Cregger’s take on Resident Evil. Is it worth the hype? What’s the balance of comedy and horror? Is Bryan the most loveable idiot of them all? And, of course, the most important debate of all: can this be called a Resident Evil movie? What does it mean to adapt an IP? Does it matter? Also, why aren’t we all calling this “Creggerdent Evil”? In the news, more Resident Evil games come to the Switch 2.
Welcome to Wishlist! We preview Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie with the things we do and don't want, and make some predictions that range from likely to completely unhinged.
This is First Aid Spray - a Resident Evil podcast by fans, for fans! It’s Resident Evil 2, but not at all like you remember it. The Chinese manhua adaptation, Bio Hazard 2, is one of the most out there RE adaptations ever. But is it still fun in its own way? How quickly does it veer off into its own universe? Are any classic Resi characters done right? And will the Tyrant ever open that can of beer? In the news, a new trailer for Cregger’s Resident Evil and a huge sales milestone.
This is First Aid Spray - a Resident Evil podcast by fans, for fans! Resident Evil Veronica has been officially revealed! And so it only seems appropriate that we head back to the game that the remake is born from. How does Code: Veronica balance combat and puzzles, and where does it succeed or fail? Are the criticisms around the voice performances fair? And what do we think the remake can do to improve on the mixed reception of the original? In the news, we react to the Veronica revival and get up-to-date with Survival Unit and Resi merch.
Psy, Steve and Sherwin take a look at the most overlooked Resident Evil side story ever in Biohazard 4D Executer. Can it be canon? What does it offer to old school fans? And, most of it all, is it a fun watch?
