Summary

Entrepreneurs Greg Levecchia and Lance Baker share insights into their journey of building a successful brand, emphasizing the importance of community engagement over traditional monetization strategies. They reflect on their initial foray into the business world, where they launched a natural shampoo line called "Based" after connecting through social media. Their collaboration stemmed from a mutual desire to disrupt a stagnant industry and create a product that resonates with consumers.

The duo highlights the significance of branding, particularly the choice of a memorable name that can stand alone in the marketplace. They discuss the challenges of maintaining product consistency and quality, especially when dealing with natural ingredients that can vary from batch to batch. Levecchia notes the importance of transparency with consumers regarding these fluctuations to build trust and loyalty.

As their team grows, they navigate the complexities of leadership and the balance between work and personal life, particularly as they prepare for the responsibilities of parenthood. They express a commitment to fostering a strong company culture while focusing on long-term growth strategies, rather than short-term gains that could jeopardize their brand's integrity. The conversation underscores the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship, where adaptability and community-building are key to sustained success.

If you're in your 20s, the biggest thing you're building isn't your bank account... it's yourself.Uploaded 18-07-26Money can disappear.Businesses can fail.Opportunities come and go.But the person you become while pursuing something meaningful can never be taken away.In this video, I share the lessons I wish someone had taught me much earlier: how your self-talk shapes your future, why your biggest limitations are often internal, how to think from first principles, why saying no creates bigger opportunities, the discipline to delegate, choosing logic over emotion, building teams, killing old identities, and becoming the kind of person capable of building something that lasts.Entrepreneurship isn't valuable because of the money it creates. It's valuable because of the man or woman it forges you into through adversity, risk, failure, and rebuilding. If you're trying to build a business, create financial freedom, become a better leader, or simply become someone your future self would be proud of, I hope these lessons save you years of unnecessary mistakes. The greatest investment you'll ever make isn't in a company. It's in the person you're becoming. My passion has never been chasing money. If you’re unhappy with where you are today, six months is enough time to become completely unrecognizable.Uploaded 11-07-26A different body. A different career. A different environment. A different circle. A completely different mindset.Over the last decade, my wife Mari and I have repeatedly transformed our lives in six-month windows. We packed everything we owned into a blue Toyota, put our dog in the back seat, and moved across the country to build Bloom. Years later, another six-month lock-in helped us close a $90 million transaction, launch Bloom Energy, and change the trajectory of our family and company forever. In this video, I break down what can happen when you stop waiting for certainty, remove the distractions holding you back, and focus completely on one mission. We dive into discipline, monomaniacal focus, physical transformation, personal branding, competition, doubt, building Bloom, and why action is the only way to find the answers. If you’re building a business, changing careers, transforming your body, or simply trying to become the person your future requires, I hope this video gives you the push to start today. The people you admire didn’t wait for certainty. Most people are not failing because they lack talent.Uploaded 26-07-26They are failing because they were taught to think too small.Somewhere along the way, ambition became something people felt like they needed to apologize for. We were told to be realistic, be content, and stop wanting more. I think that is completely backwards.I would not have built Bloom, helped grow it into a business doing over $600 million a year, or become the man I am today without setting goals that forced me to grow.In this video, I break down the six biggest lessons that have shaped the way I set goals and actually follow through on them.We talk about why you should not feel guilty for wanting more, how to separate who you are today from who you are becoming, why goals are not finish lines, and why announcing your goals can create the accountability you need to actually achieve them.I also share how I think about vision boards, measurable goals, and the smaller goals that eventually lead to something much bigger.I did not start Bloom by saying I was going to beat Monster or Red Bull. I started by seeing an opportunity in the pre-workout space that I thought we could take advantage of. That small goal led to the next one, and over time, those goals became much bigger. That is how this works. You do not need to wake up tomorrow and build a $100 million company. You need to set the next goal that moves you forward, accomplish it, and keep raising the standard. If you are an entrepreneur, creator, or someone who knows they are capable of more, this video is for you.My goal with this channel is simple: pass down everything I am learning to the next generation of entrepreneurs.Subscribe for new videos every week.00:00 Why Goals Matter00:36 Stop Feeling Guilty for Wanting More01:38 Be Proud of Who You Are Becoming02:41 Goals Are Not Finish Lines03:20 Announce Your Goals04:10 Vision Boards vs. Measurable Goals04:53 Start With Smaller Goals05:46 Go After Your Moonshot#Entrepreneurship #GoalSetting #Business #Mindset #SelfDevelopment #Bloom Learn more about your ad choices.
