1000 Lb Sisters S3:E2 - Goodbye Freedom
“Freedom” apparently means “everyone doing whatever Tammy wants,” and yeah…that’s not going great. Tammy’s fresh out of rehab and immediately back on her greatest hits: blaming Amy, cussing out customer service, and acting like basic responsibility is a personal attack. Amy, meanwhile, finally hits her limit—choosing her kid over full-time Tammy duty and daring to suggest (gasp) professional help. Chris is out here fighting for his surgery with CrossFit and scale math gymnastics, while the rest of the family braces for impact as Amy drops the “you’re getting a nurse” bomb in front of witnesses like it’s a courtroom reveal. Tammy, of course, hears “support” and translates it to “betrayal,” then decides the nurse will basically be her personal assistant for movies, nails, and vibes. Growth! The nurse interviews are a disaster, the passive-aggression is Olympic-level, and somehow the biggest red flag isn’t the fighting—it’s Tammy casually dating another long-distance guy who may or may not be a feeder. Progress is technically happening… it’s just buried under denial, attitude, and 32 missing meals.

1000 Lb Sisters S9:E8 "Amy in the Sky with Diamonds" Tammy is burning bridges, Amy is riding the fence so hard she should charge for it and somehow we're supposed to believe it's everyone else's problem. As the older siblings are confused and hurt about being disinvited from Nashville, Amy continues her favorite performance; pretending to be neutral while making sure Tammy doesn't get mad at her. We've got light wedding planning with AI art, pot-stirring galore and Amy finally gets a meeting with a record label while Tammy does her favorite pass time- sitting outside in the car
Gypsy Rose is pregnant, Ken is moving to Louisiana, and apparently nobody involved has ever heard of taking things slow. This week, we’re talking surprise pregnancies, premature marriage talk, family disappointment, and a whole lot of social media scrolling. Plus, a date night featuring unsolicited octopus, forced food challenges, public shaming, and one very teary bathroom break. Meanwhile, Ryan is trying to move on, but the neon sign of their former love life is still leaving its mark. Literally.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E7 "(Don't) Lean on Me
We came for the unseen footage and left with absolutely no organizational structure, and a whole lot to unpack. This week, we're diving into Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up Season 2, Episode 1, where the footage is unseen, the chaos is very much seen, and our notes are apparently on an extended vacation. This is also our first episode since the heartbreaking news of Ken Urker’s passing. We take a moment to share our thoughts with his loved ones before doing what we do best: getting distracted, going off the rails, and talking about everything except what we probably intended to talk about.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E6 "Not So Fast Car" We kick things off with some completely necessary parkour before Amy and Tammy attempt to enter the world of responsible driving—which immediately feels like a terrible idea. Chris and Brittany get some exciting news, Chris gets a makeover nobody asked for, and Tammy continues nurturing her grudge against Misty like it’s a prize-winning houseplant. Throw in some relationship drama, questionable logic, and a trip to the DMV.
