Spilling the Village Tea

Cannabis Law Series, Episode 2 Eric Berlin and the Business of Cannabis in Illinois

Spilling the Village Tea

Show Notes

Attorney Eric Berlin of the worlds largest law firm Dentons continues to share his journey and his expertise as a US and Global Team leader on Cannabis. We are jumping in right where we left off in episode 1 so it will sound a bit like coming into the middle of a conversation because, that is exactly what it is! We last were discussing how communities considering allowing cannabis businesses to operate within their boundaries were viewing these initial days of legalized medical marijuana and how important it was so patients could be provided safe access to medical cannabis. If you are listening out of sequence, I highly recommend you go back and listen to episode 1.Episode 2 holds so much information including the risks of running a cannabis and cannabis adjacent business, diversion control which is when legal marijuana leaks into the illegal market, supply chains and cultivation centers explained and basically product description from bud to market. Episode 3 will be coming out shortly so be sure to follow Spilling the Village Tea so you get notified!
