A who's who of wealthy Berkshire Bay elites have all gathered at Rosemary Berkshire's massive, lavish estate for the engagement party of Lizzy Berkshire, Rosemary's often-forgotten daughter. But when a mysterious death occurs in the middle of the festivities, Dorinda Mansfield finds herself in the middle of the case - and someone's cross-hairs.

You're cordially invited to the grand engagement party of Rosemary Berkshire's daughter, Elizabeth, and Ian Lockwood (the famous former vocalist for the British boy band, Boyband). But amongst the glamorous who's who of wealthy Bay residents, a murderer lies in wait. When a body is discovered on the property, Dorinda springs into action – but, this time, is she in over her head?
Dorinda realizes that a missing letter from her deceased husband’s belongings may hold the key to solving the murder. Putting her interrogation skills into high gear she begins questioning the suspects while sending Stacey on a recon mission to snoop for the missing envelope. Will they solve the crime before the Mounties arrive, or will someone get away with cold-blooded murder?
As everyone reacts to the deceased, the Mounties are called for help. To settle their nerves before retiring for the night, the group has a drink while Dorinda pieces together clues, which begin to spell ‘murder’. But with so many unwitting suspects to investigate, she may have to do further digging… in places she’d much rather not.
