Season 17, Episode 40 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers' 16-10 road win in Paris over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday to move to 5-2 on the season.

Alex and I discuss Pittsburgh's health coming out of its seventh regular-season game. We also discuss the Saturday transactions made by the team along with the pregame inactive list. The Steelers did not elevate WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling for Sunday's game, so we discuss that topic briefly.

The AFC North division remains very tight entering Week 8 and that makes the Steelers' next two games against the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals super important. We discuss those topics early in this show.

After going over a wide-angle look at the Steelers' Sunday win, Alex and I focus on the play on the offensive side of the football against the Saints. We discuss the play in the trenches by Pittsburgh on Sunday and how it fueled the victory. OC Zach Frazier played really well on Sunday and it's time he gets a lot more recognition for the season that he's having.

Alex and I spend the middle of this show talking about the play from the Steelers' offense, defense, and special teams against the Saints. We go over the effective running game on offense, the great run defense, the passing yards allowed, key stats for all units, and much more.

Will the Steelers offense ever be able to push the football down the field regularly and effectively? Will the Steelers pass defense hold up well against better and more experienced quarterback play moving forward? Alex and I address those questions during this show.
