Inside Carolina: A UNC athletics podcast

Show Notes

Inside Carolina senior reporter Greg Barnes joins Tommy Ashley for a discussion of North Carolina's quarterback situation three games into the 2026 season. Billy Edwards, Jr. has started the first three games and until Saturday's loss at Clemson, performed as expected, managing the game while the Tar Heels won in Ireland against TCU and at home against ETSU. But on Saturday, as Barnes and Ashley discuss, Edwards played poorly, missing numerous opportunities to increase Carolina's early lead. At the end of the day, it was Edwards' worst start of his six year career. The IC duo digs into the options for Bill Belichick and offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino as Notre Dame comes to Kenan Stadium on October 3rd.
