Show Notes
In this episode, Asim and Sujoy head to the cinema to break down Mardaani 3, talking Rani Mukerji’s screen presence, the evolution of the franchise, and why Bollywood struggles to make female-led star vehicles like this anymore. They dig into the film’s procedural grit vs masala instincts, the villain problem, the pacing, and whether the third instalment sticks the landing — plus where Mardaani ranks compared to the earlier films.
This is a slightly looser, hangout-style episode while Amrita’s away — expect honest takes, film nerdery, and a few laughs along the way.

Drishyam 3: One Body, Too Many Twists?
Samantha deserves a better family, Sujoy makes a case for Mirzapur, and Asim has found two good jokes in Welcome to the Jungle. Was it worth sitting through the rest of the film? You can probably guess.
Asim and Amrita are joined by Pakistani drama reviewer Sophia Q to discuss the opening episodes of Mitti De Baway. Does the much-anticipated pairing of Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali deliver? We get into the three timelines, the performances, the striking production design and the amount of slow motion.
