NeNe’s RHOA Door Closes & RHUGT Atlanta Chaos: Lisa Barlow is Late, Vicki is Miserable!

You can now leave me a voicemail directly at https://podline.fm/the-georgio-says-podcast — drop your questions, hot takes, confessions, comments, or debate my reality TV reads, and I’ll be playing and reacting to them right here on the podcast! Just a reminder: keep it spicy in the drama department, not your personal life—some of these wild voice notes are getting deleted before they ever see the light of day.

It’s Labor Day, September 7th, and while everyone is wrapping up holiday barbecues and squeezing out the last drops of summer, the reality TV news cycle isn't taking the day off. Before diving into the Atlanta drama and legal updates, Georgio shouts out the stream numbers on his single "Move! West," thanks listeners for the flood of Podline voicemails, and teases an upcoming weekly mailbag episode dedicated exclusively to breaking down your voice notes.

We kick things off with reality TV's newest "it" couple: Phaedra Parks and CT Tamburello made it red carpet official at the Emmys, dressed in full Giovanni couture. Georgio shuts down the cynics claiming it’s just a manufactured storyline for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, explaining why CT’s reality TV pedigree makes him the perfect partner for Phaedra. Speaking of Atlanta, Andy Cohen has finally spoken on the burning question of whether NeNe Leakes will return for Season 18 following her Ultimate Girls Trip appearance—and while the door is shut for right now with filming already underway, Georgio explains why this is all about long-term strategy and patience.

Then, we get a sobering legal update on Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s son, Kroy Jr., ahead of his bond hearing following a seven-count felony indictment in Georgia. Georgio calls out Kim’s staged, early-2000s-style airport pap walk with TMZ while her 15-year-old sits behind bars, unpacking the defense's strategy and the harsh reality of Georgia's legal system.

Finally, we head over to the latest episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Georgio refuses to blindly defend his favorite, calling out Lisa Barlow for making the group wait on the bus and failing to give an immediate apology to Gizelle Bryant. Plus, we dissect the Atlanta alter-ego party: the awkward spat between NeNe and Lisa Wu, Vicki Gunvalson acting like a hostage in a tragic wig while refusing to engage with the women, and Heather Gay's calculated maneuvering with Angie Katsanevas ahead of the new RHOSLC season.

Grab your Labor Day drink and hit play—there's plenty to unpack today!
