Well smack us on the butts and call us Julie, it's the semi-finals! After many weeks of baking, the bakers are still very much baking. Just four remain, and their skills are put to the test by having to make a bunch of things none of us have heard of before. Ciara and Ciarán feel that this a good semi, in fact, it's a strong semi. Unfortunately, just three bakers progress to the final, which you probably already know if you're listening to this podcast. It was a bit of a surprise though, wasn't it? It's clear from the outset that Ciara and Ciarán weren't particularly bemused with Bread Week and that's because it was actually just a bit boring. Paul Hollywood was rock hard from start to finish and loved telling everyone they were bad at bread. And the technical was very simply a JOQUE. We made it - it's the final! And there was a huge shock winner! A true underdog story with a rightful twist at the end. Just kidding it all went to plan.
