Attacks and harassment targeting oil, LNG, and LPG tankers in the Strait of Hormuz reached their highest weekly level since the Iran war began, with at least 12 incidents reported between September 28 and October 5. The escalation comes as Gulf countries push to increase oil exports through the strategic waterway. Meanwhile, Trump’s antisemitism envoy Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun says the administration has revoked more than 250,000 visas, amid scrutiny over how criticism of Israel and alleged antisemitic behavior are being treated by the administration.
