The Paris Major gave us one of the most dramatic finals of the Premier Padel season.

We break down another iconic chapter of Coello & Tapia vs Chingalan, whether this loss could haunt Chingotto and Galán in the World No. 1 race, the growing tactical problem for Lebrón and Augsburger, Paquito and Di Nenno’s rise, the latest transfer-market chaos, and an incredible women’s tournament led by Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero.

👑 COELLO & TAPIA REMAIN UNTOUCHABLE IN PARIS

Four consecutive Paris Major titles. 20-0 as a pair at Roland-Garros. One week after losing in the Madrid quarterfinals, Coello and Tapia immediately respond by winning a Major.

WHO IS YOUR MVP?

💔 WILL THIS LOSS HAUNT CHINGALAN?

Chingotto and Galán were one game away. Fede Chingotto has now reached five consecutive Paris finals since 2022 and lost every one. After Madrid, the World No. 1 race looked wide open. After Paris, the gap has opened again.

🚨 ARE LEBRÓN & AUGSBURGER REALLY ON THE RIGHT TRACK?

Another semifinal. Another straight-sets loss to Coello and Tapia. LeBurger are now 1-7 against the World No. 1 pair in 2026. So are Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger actually getting closer?

📈 ARE PAQUITO & DI NENNO CLEARLY THE NO. 4 TEAM?

Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno come from a set down to beat Stupa and Sanz and will officially move into the World No. 4 position.

They then once again create winning stretches against Chingalan before eventually falling.

🤔 UPSET… OR NOT REALLY AN UPSET?

Aimar Goñi and Edu Alonso take out Madrid finalists Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas.

We also look at Chozas and De Pascual taking down Arce and Tello and ask which results were true shocks…and which ones we should have seen coming.

🔄 THE PREMIER PADEL TRANSFER MARKET IS MOVING AGAIN More breakups. More new partnerships. Garrido and Bergamini are done. Javi Garrido links up with Sanyo Gutiérrez. Pol Hernández moves with Manu Castaño. Collado joins Enrique Goenaga. Which new project has the highest ceiling?

🇫🇷 PARIS HONORABLE MENTIONS

Thomas Leygue gives the French crowd one of the stories of the tournament.

After suffering a torn Achilles at last year’s Italy Major, Leygue comes back and beats Sanyo and Esbrí in a deciding set to reach the Round of 16 at his home Major.

And then there was the crowd.

Around 14,500 fans packing Roland-Garros for padel. In France.

One of the clearest signs yet of how quickly Premier Padel is growing globally.

👑 ARI SÁNCHEZ & ANDREA USTERO ARE PARIS MAJOR CHAMPIONS

Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero beat Araújo and Ortega in a three-set semifinal before absolutely dominating Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo 6-2, 6-0 in the final.

Their first Major together. Andrea Ustero’s first Major title. And their third title of 2026.

🌍 HOW DOES THE WOMEN’S WORLD NO. 1 RACE END?

Is this becoming the most competitive women’s season we have seen in Premier Padel?

🧨 OVERREACTION OR NOT?
