Life As an Empath with Robert Panico

The Naked Man Podcast

Show Notes

"If you fuck up, fuck up with clarity." Lately I've been wondering if I have some empathic abilities, so this week I bring on my good friend and Naked Man composer Robert Panico (@robpanico) to discuss his life as an empath-- someone with an innate sense for the emotional state of others. Rob and I bond over our shared issues: negative thought loops, negative energy, "mind reading" our friends and partners and the noxious roommate that lives in our head that we can't evict. What was Rob's origin story? What is synesthesia and how is that part of his story? What was it like growing up around boys and men as an empath? Does anyone like P.E. class? How did the 1985 Joe Dante film Explorers change Rob's life? Answers to these questions and more await intrepid explorers.
