DOMINATION: Sam Darnold Shines While Seahawks Defense Erases Kenneth Walker In Chiefs Upset

The Seattle Seahawks delivered their most complete performance of the season, dominating the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs 20-3 behind a dramatically improved offense and a historic defensive performance against Patrick Mahomes.

Dan Viens breaks down Brian Fleury's best-called game yet as Seattle piled up 410 yards, converted 11 of 16 third downs and didn't allow a single sack after surrendering 10 over the previous two games. Sam Darnold bounced back with 257 passing yards, Emanuel Wilson rushed for 100 yards and Jaxon Smith-Njigba exploded for 150 receiving yards as Seattle finally found the right formula between protecting its quarterback and maintaining an explosive offense.

Then, just how dominant was Mike Macdonald's defense? Kansas City finished with only 213 yards, 11 first downs and three points — while failing to reach the red zone for the first time in Patrick Mahomes' career. Kenneth Walker III was held to 36 rushing yards as Seattle completely dictated the terms of the game.
