Misericordias Domini - Third Sunday of Easter

FaithCapo.com Sermons

Show Notes

Jesus, the Good Shepherd, teaches us with humility and beauty that He cherishes us, His sheep, despite our weaknesses and follies. He demonstrates His profound love and commitment by willingly sacrificing His life for us, contrasting sharply with the hired hand who flees at the sight of danger. This ultimate act of love, exemplified by the cross, is central to our faith, especially during the Easter season, reminding us of His enduring presence and protection. As our shepherd, Jesus does not tire of our failings but continuously offers forgiveness, guidance, and care. He desires us to stay close to Him, seeking His help in every need and sorrow, learning from His sacrificial love to remain faithful and hopeful. In all things, we are encouraged to draw near to Him, knowing that He knows us intimately and loves us deeply, teaching us to rely on Him as our steadfast protector and guide.
