When is a Wordle not a Wordle - but just as addictive? When it’s a Murdle! The devilishly challenging murder mystery quiz format took the gift book market by storm when it was published in 2023, taking Greg ‘G.T.’ Karber to the bestseller charts in a way that surprised everyone involved and saw it stuffed into stockings across the land for Christmas. Hannah MacInnes interviews G.T. about how studying Maths and English, and running the Hollywood Mystery Society, an immersive theatrical events group, set him up well to create the format that became Murdle. Greg is shortlisted for Murdle in the Non-Fiction: Lifestyle & Illustrated Book of the Year category at this year’s Nibbies.
