LINDSAY MARCHMENT

theMARKET's Podcast

Show Notes

House/Vocal/Uplifting/Progressive/Electro DJ from country Victoria originally, now living the city life in Melbourne.

Lindsay always had a love of music growing up especially house music, and in leaving school decided to dabble in DJ'ing. Lindsay has been mixing obsessively now for over 18 months and it still always brightens up his day.

A big fan of commercial house, but with something to stand out, Lindsay favours that 'one of a kind' or 'rare' remix that lights up a dancefloor.

You will have seen Lindsay or may have found him mixing at these Various Dance Events...

and spinning residencies @ these sweet clubs...

Rachel Lister, better known as DJ Kista, got her first taste for DJ’ing back in 1996 when DJ Tony Svehla gave Kista a spin of the decks at the Milkbar in Sth Melbourne. Having then caught the DJ bug Kista invested in a set of decks and spent the next couple of years honing her skills, amusing her neighbours at all hours, and entertaining her friends, at house parties and gatherings all over town. Through word of mouth and her unique style, her next big break came in 2000 when she was asked to become a weekly resident at iconic lesbian bar, ‘The Glasshouse Hotel’. This led to regular gigs with ‘Girlbar’ @ the Prince of Wales Hotel and another successful woman’s night, ‘Tease’@ Sublime.
