updates you’ve been waiting for

Look, we got “Freddie IN THE HOUSE”!! Direct quote from him, not us lol, but as Brooke steps back onto her old college stomping ground, Freddie Carolan steps in as this week’s substitute. We’ve had Moms on the Go and Bros on the Go, BUT it’s been a while since we’ve had a good old sibling-to-sibling heart-to-heart catch-up!! Before diving into the Carolan family “lore,” we crack open a couple of beers (yes, we’re ACTUALLY drinking on the pod), let Freddie in on a few of our BEST bits (hey, how ya doin’, toots?!), annnnnd play a few games! Because who doesn’t LOVE a little sibling bonding!! We ALSO get Freddie’s perspective on Danielle and Ryan’s BIG life update. Word on the street is….Ryan is going to be a GREAT (fish) father. Annnnd not to get too emo, but the timing feels right to finally unpack everything going on with their dad. We get a little deep, but leave feeling grateful for one another, the health updates, and every single caregiver out there!!!

The gals take on the wild WILD west (ty DSW), packing everything but their shoes, of course, for a week-long adventure in the mountains! Now we knooooow when you think outdoors, mayyyyybe you think “Dani,” but you for sure aren’t thinking Brooke. Brooke gives pink, kitten heels, GIRLY!! However, in an effort to be “different” she trades the pointed toe for a more “industrial” look if you will. Let’s just say she is quite literally the ONLY ONE going for that vibe, annnnd maybe we should just normalize doing what everyone else does. Also, news flash (that probably everyone else already knows), cowboy boots are NOT performative!! From line dancing to fly-fishing and horseback riding their way through Big Sky, the gals feel COMPLETELY relaxed for once in their lives. Look, saddle up because this is one you don’t want to miss!

It seeeeeems we are the talk of the town as of late, with a little blue dress that makes its way around the internet annnnd apparently in Danielle’s group chat too!! Look, there’s a few speculations PLUS over NINE HUNDRED shares (omg), so let’s discuss, shall we? BUT before we dive into the photo making its way around the world, Danielle is fresh off the red carpet, sharing the room with close personal friends Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway. She graciously gives us the inside scoop on the new Verity movie, wishing it were longer, but feels making a part two wouldn’t be “strong” enough (TOTALLY her “own words” lol). Famous dress and famous people aside, we also take a turn into medical talk, because you know the gals LOVE modern medicine. Does anyone else fear going under??? OR are you like Brooke and lowkey LOVE it…like you have some of your BEST dreams when you’re under?? We have a LOT of new things for ya this week, AND we’re getting honest because you gal pals are our safe space. What we’re about to share…well, let’s just say, honey, prepare for a shock!!!

Okay. Fine. We will say it…HAPPY FALL YA’LL!! Yessss, we officially let go of summer (sigh) and admit that fall is here. We’re feeling EXTRA cozy in the studio today in our matching brown shirts, with the sleeves covering our hands just enough (iykyk), making us feel ever so tiny & petite. It’s time to dive in and recap EVERYTHING from Danielle’s 28th!! The swanky club, a janky party bus (one VERY cold blast), annnnnd yes, one slightly embarrassing moment with the DJ!! No, she’s not trying to request a song…we swear!! But hey, at least she gets to practice speaking up!! We also get a mini birthday present haul (helllooooo, Miu Miu AND diamonds). Let’s just say turning 28 was a NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!

It’s a VERY special episode this week, filled with literally SO many new things!! For starters, Brooke is no longer much MUCH older than Danielle (hello, 28!!). Drake drops new music (seriously, what a time to be a fan!!), annnnd Brooke launches her first-ever collab!! Look, things are very exciting and VERY buzzy in NYC. Aside from all of the buzz in the city, naturally the gals stay on the go! From Texas to Vegas and all over Italy, Brooke is hitting the slot machines and sipping espresso martinis, while Danielle is apparently booking the wrong flights and mixing up time zones (again lol). For those who are “sIcK oF hEaRiNg AbOuT tHe WeDdInG,” cover your ears because the bachelorette planning officially begins!! Not only do we give you a little GOTG-exclusive look into Brooke’s bach, but we also introduce a new bit (which we will absolutely beat into the ground)!! And, believe it or not, we’re sharing some life advice because now that we’re both officially in our late twenties, we’re basically wiser than ever…right?!
