This week on I Said What I Said, Shane is joined by content creator Deb K all the way from Derry for a funny, honest, and very relatable chat about life, nights out, social media, and feeling like you’re outgrowing things around you. The pair chat Slane Castle, content creation, Facebook earnings, and the pressure of trying to build bigger opportunities while living outside major cities. Deb opens up about loving Derry while also feeling like she may eventually need to leave home to grow, something Shane admits he completely relates to with Kerry. Things quickly get crazy when the pair play “Would You Rather” and “Who’s More Likely To,” leading to hilarious stories, brutal honesty, and answers that reveal far more than expected. One question even sends Shane into the story of how he somehow got barred from a place in Limerick… despite insisting it absolutely was not his fault.

This week’s Monday Dilemma is messy, awkward, and way too relatable.
This week's Monday Dilemma is not an easy one! Shane and Kate discuss the challenge of facing a job offer which although looks great from the outside, may mean life has to change more than our listener wants. It raises questions on what's most important when it comes to your job. Is it money? Is it culture? Shane is attracted by the money but then changes his mind when Kate makes him think further! It's a great laugh as Shane is blinded by the prospect of a 20K brand deal, but it does lead to an interesting conversation about a genuinely tough scenario. Remember to send your Dilemmas to Shane on Instagram if you want to get his thoughts on whatever is causing you grief!
This week's episode is complete chaos as Shane prepares for his live shows. You can tell he's excited for getting back on stage! They guys then discuss how Shane would fare on Traitors and how he would go about taking on the other contestants. Coincidentally it's just off the back of his recent spot on Ireland AM, so they also discuss how he would be as a presenter. Obviously with the week that's in it, Shane shares some behind the scenes goss on his upcoming live shows. We get a exclusive sneak peak on what the show will look like which is super exciting! To close, Shane talks about his upcoming trip to Turkey and the reality of getting his teeth done.
Shane is back in the Big Smoke this week with Kate who is covering for Katie while she's partying in Ibiza! This week starts with a bang as Shane shares a jaw dropping story about an unfortunate run in on the train which will leave you speechless. Remember to lock those doors people! Shane and Kate discuss what their dream end of world bunker would have and naturally they have some hilarious priorities! Doesn't sound like the safest bunker, but certainly the most chaotic. To close, Kate offers Shane some "He's a 10 but" scenarios which gives us an interesting take on what Shane looks for in a guy. It's off the walls as you'd expect but a good laugh with Kate who filled Katie's boots well!
