LIVERPOOL ARE MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE! Craig Defends Mac Allister

LATE NIGHT LIVE WITH CRAIG | MAC ALLISTER CONTRACT ROW & LIVERPOOL'S BIG DECISIONS

Craig returns for another edition of Late Night Live on Anfield Agenda, with Alexis Mac Allister's future at Liverpool sparking a passionate debate.

Despite the Argentine midfielder's impressive performances under Andoni Iraola, questions remain over whether Liverpool will offer him a new contract.

Craig strongly disagrees with suggestions that Mac Allister's age should prevent the club from extending his deal, arguing that the World Cup winner's quality, experience and importance to Liverpool's midfield make him a player worth keeping.

David Lynch's recent comments about Mac Allister's contract situation also come under scrutiny, with Craig challenging the argument that Liverpool should resist offering the midfielder fresh terms.

Attention turns to Liverpool's wider contract management, with Craig questioning why the club continues to allow important players to approach the final stages of their deals, potentially reducing their transfer value and creating unnecessary uncertainty.

With Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and other experienced players facing uncertain futures, Craig also raises concerns about Liverpool losing too much leadership and experience from the dressing room.

There's further discussion about the club's recruitment strategy, the financial consequences of poor contract planning and whether Liverpool's decision-makers are doing enough to protect the long-term interests of the squad.

Should Liverpool offer Mac Allister a new contract? Would selling him be a costly mistake? And why does the club keep finding itself in difficult contract situations?

All this and more on Late Night Live with Craig.
