On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy had been riding in an open-top car in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza when he was shot. Some of the theories suggest that the assassination was a government-led operation, possibly involving high-ranking officials within the CIA or FBI. One of the primary pieces of evidence is the presence of multiple shooters. They point to the fact that the shots that killed Kennedy came from different directions, suggesting that there were multiple gunmen involved. Some witnesses reported hearing shots fired from the grassy knoll area near Dealey Plaza, while others reported seeing smoke or flashes from a different location. Another key piece of evidence is the infamous Zapruder film. The footage, which shows the assassination in slow motion, has been analyzed extensively by researchers who argue that it reveals inconsistencies with the official government report on the assassination. Some have suggested that the film was doctored to remove evidence of a larger conspiracy. Additionally, connections between Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who was arrested and charged with assassinating Kennedy, and various government agencies. They argue that Oswald may have been a CIA or FBI informant, and that he was set up to take the fall for the assassination. Overall, theories argue that the official government report on the assassination, the Warren Commission Report, was incomplete and flawed. They believe that there was a larger plot at work, involving multiple gunmen and high-level government officials, and that the truth behind the assassination may never be fully known.
