Full Show: The Infestation Taking Over Melbourne!

A recent podcast episode features Wayne Holdsworth, whose son Mac tragically took his own life two years ago after being a victim of online blackmail. Wayne discusses the emotional toll of this loss and his ongoing mission to raise awareness about the dangers of social media for children. He advocates for a complete ban on mobile phones in Victorian schools, similar to measures taken in South Australia, arguing that children should not have access to phones during school hours to mitigate risks associated with online interactions.

Wayne's campaign, "Unplugged 24," encourages individuals to disconnect from social media for 24 hours, which saw over 1.1 million participants. He emphasizes the importance of education in preventing similar tragedies and highlights the need for parents and educators to be vigilant about the potential dangers children face online. The episode serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges families face in the digital age and the importance of open conversations about online safety.
