Show Notes

🎙️ SHOW NOTES — 1001 Radio Days Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar Starring Bob Bailey as the man with the action‑packed expense account This week brings two gripping Dollar investigations — one involving a mysterious chemical shipment with deadly implications, and another where a ticking clock and a desperate phone call pull Johnny into a race against time.

⚗️ Episode 1: "The Boron 112 Matter" Johnny is called in when a shipment of Boron 112, a rare and highly valuable industrial chemical, goes missing under suspicious circumstances. The insurance company fears theft — but the deeper Johnny digs, the clearer it becomes that this isn't just about money. Boron 112 has dangerous potential in the wrong hands, and someone is willing to take big risks to get it. Johnny's investigation leads him through laboratories, warehouses, and a network of people who know more than they're saying. Every clue points toward a scheme involving industrial espionage, high‑stakes sabotage, and a motive that could threaten far more than an insurance payout. A sharp, tense mystery with a scientific edge — and classic Johnny Dollar grit.

🕚 Episode 2: "The Eleven O'Clock Matter" A frantic phone call comes into the insurance office: a man claims he'll be dead by eleven o'clock — and wants to make sure his policy is in order before the hour strikes. Johnny is dispatched immediately, but when he arrives, the caller has vanished… and the clock is already ticking. What follows is a fast‑moving chase through the city as Johnny pieces together the man's identity, his enemies, and the danger closing in on him. Every lead brings Johnny closer to the truth — and closer to the deadline the caller seemed certain he wouldn't survive. A taut, time‑driven thriller that keeps the tension high from start to finish.
