✍️ Today's tale is by Chandler Smith, who shares his winter tale of a search party that finds the wrong thing out in the woods.

Chandler Smith resides in a small town in Southeast Texas. And has always loved scary stories, finding inspiration to be a writer through Stephen King and Cormac McCarthy. Chandler is greatly inspired by the familiarity you get with others when you're living in a small town, as well as his father, who is retired law enforcement. He lives with his fiancée and his cat.
