Today, we're diving into one of the most requested stories in the history of Press Box Chornicles. September 24 marked the 48-year anniversary of Lyman Bostock's shocking murder. Bostock was a can't miss prospect who's early years showed enormous signs of promise. In the spring of 1978, Bostock signed one of the richest contracts in MLB history. Less than 6 months later, he was dead. Have any guests you want to see on the show? Have any questions for me? Drop them below and I'll make sure to include them in future episodes.
Today, we're diving into a really, really interesting story about friendship. True friendship. Most people know Matt Suhey as the former Chicago Bears fullback who blocked for Walter Payton en route to numerous rushing titles and a Super Bowl. What most don't know is that Matt Suhey became more than just a teammate to Payton. He became family. And that's what we're going to talk about today on Press Box Chronicles.
