The Parkinson's Vitality Project Podcast

Show Notes

In this episode Anne interviews Emily Duval Ledger, the Owner and Lead Trainer for Recreation Fitness in Long Beach, CA. Emily specializes in working with clients who have chronic or neurologic conditions – like Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, Lupus, and Multiple Sclerosis – to help them manage their symptoms, and improve the quality of their lives. In addition to one-on-one training, she and her team offer PD Fit for Parkinson’s classes, which combine PWR!Moves, boxing, and functional training in a fun group setting.

We talk about why people with PD can benefit from working with a personal trainer to continue exercising and staying well in their daily lives.
