Episode 359: Visions of Futures Past XXVIII

Join Peter and Frank for another tangential episode. We've been playing a smidge of Spirit Island so we figured we'd dig into what we've been enjoying about it, how it works, what tension in games means to us and how - if at all - it all links back to Arkham for us. Enjoy! Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. Here we're tweaking our Tommy Muldoon deck to take on New Horizons in the middle of the night! In Think on your Feet episodes, I endeavour not to edit much at all. Sometimes I cut some shuffling sounds or abbreviate some of my longer pauses (a chap's got to think!), but otherwise, it's uncut, unaltered and meant to feel like you're with me at the table. There may be mistakes and misplays, but hopefully some successes too. Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. Yet again, we step into the unknown, with an unplayed-before deck and an unplayed-before scenario. Let's go! Join Frank and Peter for a riff on this question: where are you at with Arkham? How do you feel about allocation? How is chapter two hitting? What impact does that have on casting? And what else is catching our attention? Join Frank and Peter for a head-scratcher: is Carolyn the new Daisy? What does that mean? And if it means what we think it means, what does that say about chapter 1 Arkham in comparison with chapter 2 Arkham, if anything?
