Show Notes
"If you care about me, I care about you." I have a grade school level excitement about my new friend and fellow Pacey Witter lover Kat Pettibone (@kat__writes), who joins the show to talk about the often confusing nature of female-male friendships. But why do I feel so guilty about bringing Kat on? And why is Kat so down to listen to my shame and guilt? Because that's what friends do, Andy. Oh! And so, Kat and I talk about our head spaces going into our new friendship, the problems with "biding your time" as a friend when you secretly want more, whether you can be friends after sex, and if you can be friends when you're attracted to them. We also discuss how men/I conflate emotional connection with sex and how that warped my perspectives on relationships with women for years. I hope you enjoy this snapshot of our awkward, baby friendship.
