He is the creator of the Feasting and Fasting priming program, a system built to help people transition into carnivore with less struggle and more sustainability. Before carnivore, Raymond was pre-diabetic with a 44 inch waist, and dealing with sleep apnea, plantar fasciitis, and diverticulitis so severe his doctor recommended surgery. Within a year and a half of going carnivore, those conditions resolved, along with chronic skin issues and constant infections he had lived with for years. Today Raymond teaches priming, feasting and fasting classes through the Steak and Butter Gang, along with a weekly non-scale victory call, helping others build the same foundation that changed his life. 🎧 ABOUT THIS EPISODE This conversation goes deep on why we have been trained to treat food as entertainment instead of fuel, why his bloodwork got worse right as his health actually improved, why the calorie model is broken, and why undereating, not too much fat, may be what is keeping you stuck. βœ… IN THIS EPISODE YOU WILL LEARN βœ” Why food was never meant to be entertainment βœ” Why his labs got worse right as his health actually improved βœ” Why the calorie in calorie out model does not hold up on carnivore βœ” Why undereating, not too much fat, may be what is keeping you stuck βœ” Why family and spouses often resist and resent a carnivore transformation βœ” Why the scale does not tell you the truth about your health βœ” What priming is and why it makes the carnivore transition easier βœ” Why healing is not linear and what that actually looks like in the body βœ” The difference between nourished fasting and starvation fasting πŸ”— GUEST LINKS Coach Raymond Nazon: Find him on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Classes at the Steak and Butter Gang: Mondays and Tuesdays for priming and feasting and fasting, Saturdays for the non-scale victory call πŸ”— CONNECT WITH CRISTINA CLARK Website: mycarnivore.lifestyle Instagram: instagram.com/mycarnivore.lifestyle Email: [email protected] YouTube: youtube.com/@mycarnivore.lifestyle βš•οΈ MEDICAL DISCLAIMER Quick note: I am not a doctor or medical professional. Hey Friend, The holidays do not have to become six weeks of arguing with yourself about food. In this episode, I'm talking about the difference between relying on willpower and making decisions from identity. Instead of asking, "Can I have this?" I want you asking, "How do I want to feel when I leave?" We are also sharing some exciting changes happening at Carnivore Lifestyle for Women, including more solo episodes, upcoming interviews, and new ways to connect and find support through the website. If you are trying to lose stubborn weight, stop chasing symptoms and start looking at root causes, or learn how to live carnivore consistently in real life, there is support for you. Hey Friend, For years, women were told to eat less, move more, choose the "healthier" option, and keep trying harder if it did not work. But what happens when the advice keeps changing? In this episode, I am taking a look at how our thinking around dietary fat has shifted over the years, from butter and lard to margarine, low-fat foods, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and now back to talking about animal fats again. This is not about telling you there is one perfect fat. It is about asking better questions. Why are you eating what you are eating? Where did those rules come from? And do they still make sense for you now? We are talking about how dietary fat recommendations changed, why low-fat became such a dominant message, how women learned to blame themselves when the rules did not work, and why food trends are not the same thing as truth. The biggest takeaway? Stop chasing symptoms. Start asking better questions. The Carnivore Reset Masterclass will be opening again soon. Hey Friend, The holidays are coming, and maybe you've already caught yourself thinking, "I'll start again in January." But why does enjoying the holidays have to mean putting yourself on hold? In this episode, I'm talking about the all-or-nothing mindset that causes so many women to stop taking care of themselves during the holiday season. You do not have to choose between enjoying your family, your food, and the season while also making decisions that help you feel good. This is not about being perfect, restricting yourself, or starting another diet. It is about remembering that you matter now, not just on January 1. If your weight loss plan always seems to start over in the new year, this episode will help you rethink what taking care of yourself can actually look like through the holidays. Hey Friend, If eating less and exercising more was the answer, you probably would have figured it out by now. In this episode, we are challenging the old idea that the answer to midlife weight gain is always less food and more exercise. We are talking about nourishment, workouts, strength, and why your goal should be to build and support your body instead of constantly trying to make it smaller. The Carnivore Reset Masterclass will be opening again soon. If you are on my email list, keep an eye on your inbox. I'll be sharing how it works, what we cover, and when you can join. Hey Friend, What if the thing you think is "allowed" on carnivore is still the thing keeping you stuck? Stephen "Coach Lash" Lashbrook spent decades dealing with psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, chronic pain, and depression before hearing Mikhaila Peterson's story. He says she saved his life. His story was recently featured on FOXNews.com, and in this episode we go deeper into the parts of his journey that did not fit into one article. We talk about the Lion Diet, strict carnivore, food reactions, mindset, and why more freedom can sometimes come from removing what your body is telling you does not work for you. Stephen also shares the bigger vision he is working toward now: creating a Carnivore Healing Retreat where people can come, learn, simplify, and get support in person. If you are doing carnivore and still wondering why you do not feel the way you expected to feel, this conversation may make you look at things differently. Xo, Cristina P.S.
