Time for another Arnold Schwarzenegger flick as we talk 1987's The Running Man! This movie might serve as the last true 80s Arnold action movie, and perhaps for good reason. It is still a very fun watch though it might not be aging particularly well compared to classics like Predator and The Terminator. Thanks for listening to Just Like The Movies, where we're all about transporting you back to a simpler time in life revisiting the old movies we love. Be Kind, rewind, relax, and enjoy the show!

Does the Tarantino written, Rodriguez directed genre-bending flick hold up 30 years later? Salma Hayek does, anyway! We had a fun time revisiting From Dusk Till Dawn, which might include Tarantino's most egregious exploration of his foot fetish. Weird dude. Thank you for listening to our highly-acclaimed nostalgic movie podcast. Be kind, rewind, relax, and enjoy the show.
Snooch to the MF nooch. Kevin Smith took his biggest shot at a big movie and chose as controversial a topic as possible for it. We revisit 1999's Dogma and everything that came with it. Did you know Jason Mewes is the best America can be? Alan Rickman certainly thought so. Thanks for listening to our nostalgic movie podcast as we revisit a simpler time about the movies we enjoy. Led by an outstanding performance of Magneto (Erik Lehnsherr) by Michael Fassbender, it is hard to believe this worthy X-Men prequel is already 15 years old. And without this movie we would never have gotten arguably the best X-Men movie, Days of Future Past. Thank you for listening to our nostalgic movie podcast and as always be kind, rewind, relax, and enjoy the show!
You go, we go! Let's take a trip back to 1991 and revisit Ron Howard's BACKDRAFT. Arguably the greatest firefighter movie ever made backed heavily by ILM's visual effects holding up strong 35 years later. Johnny does plenty of his Kurt Russell gushing and Mike provides real fireman insight via his Uncle. We also focus on the themes of the movie including the relationship between brothers Steven and Brian. With a loaded cast, there is a lot to get into. So be kind, rewind, relax, and enjoy the podcast!
John Travolta had a major comeback with Pulp Fiction which led to a Golden Globe win in this 1995 comedy. Get Shorty is a send-up to Hollywood that is an easily digestible and fun movie.
