GlastoCast - (unofficial) Glastonbury Festival Podcast

Show Notes

Miguel and Jessi are joined by Jay, or as he is better known, Beans On Toast, for an epic episode of festival stories. From Beans’ first Glastonbury in 1997 at the ripe young age of 16, he hasn’t missed one yet. We hear tales of fence jumping, open mic gigs, and meeting Billy Bragg. A proper veteran of the festival who went from punter, to crew, to performer, and this year will mark 25 years since his first Glasto. We absolutely loved having you Jay, see you in the fields very soon! Miguel and Jessi are joined by guest Niki to look back on Glastonbury 2025, from the Wednesday circus at the Pyramid to a foggy Monday morning at the Stone Circle. Between them they cover standout sets, late nights in the south-east corner and the small kindnesses along the way. Miguel worked long shifts and saw the festival by night, Jessi volunteered and then roamed free, and Niki did it as a ticket holder. All three came home with the same feeling: something just clicked this year.
