Bobbie, Liam, and Summer break into the Diamond Estate to steal back the guitar and travel back in time again. This time they land in 1997, just as young Nicki is turning into Summer. Can they convince her to return to her home timeline and set things right?

With no TimeTone guitar, it looks like Dante has Nicki trapped in the 1990s. Can Summer help Nicki out of a jam? Will Bobbie and Liam get to go back to their lives, or is the timeline messed up forever?
Summer tries to convince her younger self that Dante isn’t trustworthy, and to return to her proper timeline. Bobbie makes a plea for her best friend to make things right. But will Nicki play the guitar on stage– or create the time portal back to the 2020’s?
Liam and Bobbie buy VIP tickets to see Summer Raines in concert, and meet up with Nicki. She confesses that stardom isn’t all that it seems, and agrees to help them time travel again. But they’ll have to find the guitar in this timeline first, and Liam is rapidly Disappearing!
Bobbie and Liam find themselves in a much darker timeline back in the 2020s, where Dante Diamond has become an unstoppable force in the music industry and converted the rink into a museum honoring himself. In this timeline, Liam doesn’t exist, and Nicki has become a one-hit-wonder under the stage name “Summer Raines.” Just as they begin to lose hope, a voicemail from Nicki appears on their phones.
The Save the Rink event goes off seemingly without a hitch, but Nicki discovers that Leonard’s in deep with the mob when she catches him stealing the Save the Rink proceeds to pay off his debts. Bobbie and Liam, convinced the festival has saved the rink, strum the guitar and time travel, but at the last minute Nicki stays behind in the 1990s.
