NBL great, Damon Lowery | The Run Home with Kymbo & Chad (29.10.26)

Sherrod Brown faces criticism for his long tenure in politics, with opponents accusing him of prioritizing benefits for undocumented immigrants over the needs of Ohio residents. They claim he has voted to provide Social Security and COVID relief funds to illegal immigrants, and partnered with Bernie Sanders to offer taxpayer-funded healthcare and amnesty. Critics argue that after 50 years in office, Brown's promises have not translated into tangible benefits for his constituents.

In sports commentary, Damon Lowry discusses his new venture into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, emphasizing the importance of personal growth and embracing challenges at an older age. He shares his experiences of training and the difficulties of learning a martial art as a beginner. The conversation shifts to basketball, where Lowry analyzes the performance of the Adelaide 36ers and the Brisbane Bullets, suggesting that despite recent struggles, there is no need for fans to panic. He critiques current coaching strategies regarding player substitutions, arguing that they are overly cautious and detrimental to team performance.

The episode also touches on the history of the Adelaide 36ers and the impact of former coach Ken Cole, highlighting the significance of the team's legacy in the community. Lowry reflects on notable players from the past and compares them to current stars, asserting that Bryce Cotton stands out as the best three-point shooter in the modern game.
