Show Notes
There's only one member of the Before The Lights who would request we install GTA on the treadmills; ladies and gentleman Tuwaine Barrett.
Having worked with Tuwaine for most of his career is was a pleasure to sit down and discuss his route into acting via The Brit School, some hard conversations with his family and his desire to be "anyone but me" at certain stages of his life.
His journey has seen him appear in Mike Leigh's Hard Truths, Daisy May Cooper's The Witchfinder and some seriously exciting upcoming projects. He's also worked with acting and directing royalty, and racked up one hell of a hotel tab in LA so buckle in as we cover some serious ground. Follow us on Instagram for updates on all aspects of the club. You can also click here to apply for Before The Lights membership.
This episode was recorded at Fiction Studios, situated at Before The Lights. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
More from Before The Lights
This week we're joined by someone with a lot (almost too much) to say, which makes him a perfect guest.
Actor and GoHub founder Jaz Hutchins joins us to discuss his journey to creating the UK's professional acting workshop.
Our latest guest has range. From appearances in some of the biggest biopics of all time, to starring in Wolf Alice videos and finding the time to perfect roly polys Lucy Boyton has it all. And every last inch of those talents (and the embarrassing mishaps/ crossed wires along the way) are covered in this week's podcast.
This week we're joined by actor/ writer/ Overcompensating creator model/ Mary Beth Barone's muse Benito Skinner (aka Benny Drama).
'Two actors and a rugby player join a zoom call' sounds like the start of a really rubbish joke, but it's actually the beginning of a very special conversation.
